About Us
The PubThe Restaurant
We have built it now they must come (early if they want a seat!). The first impression you will have is that you’re in the right place. The Duke of Dublin is designed to have nooks and crannies like most traditional Irish pubs. In addition we also have an elevated dining area beside a long bank of floor to ceiling windows and a second floor that overlooks the bar area and stage.
Stage you ask? Well when we’re offering the best of live Classic Rock, Jazz and Blues, Country, and Celtic pub-style entertainment 7 nights a week we have to have a stage. Beside the stage we have the best looking bar in all of Canada. Grab a stool and help us keep the wood polished with the sleeves of your shirt.

The Drink
How do 16 draught lines sound to you? Refreshing! Check out our menu if you want but trust me there’s something for everyone. There are lots of Irish draught beers to choose from featuring the Guinness Perfect Pour of course. And did I mention that we pour a proper pint. Not a sleeve or a schooner…a pint!
The team has also cooked up quite a nice collection of House Specialty Cocktails and Martinis if that’s your style. Examples include the Irish Paralyzer made with Bailey’s and cream, the Double D martini (think Duke of Dublin) with melon liqueur, Alize and fresh fruit juices, or my favourite the Pogue Mahone featuring Irish Whiskey, peach schnapps and fresh lime juice. What a funny name!
Our wine list features selections from the award winning Domaine de Chaberton among others. Whether by the glass or bottle you will find something to love! Take advantage of our straight mark up policy on all bottled wines. You see, we add a set amount to our cost regardless of what that might be instead of doubling or tripling the cost like everyone else does. So? Well that means you get better value on the higher end stuff, so trade up!
The Food
You’ve been to that kind of pub before. We all have. Looking for a place for a nice cold beer and looking at the menu to see if there’s something there that you think you could choke down. Chances are the menu offers a selection of deep fried foods that come in various hues of brown and yellow. At the Duke of Dublin we don’t think that’s good enough.
You will be treated to a menu that includes traditional Irish fare but goes far, far beyond. Our brand new state of the art kitchen is dedicated to delivering the highest quality food in a timely fashion. From classics like Shepherds Pie and Bangers N’ Mash to modern dishes like our Smokehouse Baby Back Ribs in our Signature Guiness BBQ Sauce and West Coast Grilled Salmon Filet.
We think you’ll come for the food.
The People
What good is a beautiful room without the right people taking care of you, our guests? You can expect a warm smile and that little something special at the Duke. Our team of professionals was chosen first of all because they’re great people! People we would want to hang out with and share a laugh or a story.
We’ve worked to provide you with experts in the dining room. Ask your server anything you want about the menu and you can expect an accurate answer. Ask your bartender what’s the difference between a Single Malt Scotch and an Irish Whiskey. Know what? They know the answer.
